4 December 2021 – Congratulations to Elizabeth Bothel for earning her way on to the Texas All-Region Middle School Honor Band sponsored by the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA).

The TMEA is an organization that governs high school All State competition and middle school All-Region Band competition.  The TMEA released several music excerpts at the beginning of the school year and students prepared these pieces for months.

Through a vigorous audition, the best musicians are selected and assembled into two All Star performing groups called the Region Bands. 

Only three students from Elizabeth’s middle school earned spots in the All-Region Middle School Honor Band.
